Hackers Day is an Open Source Non-Profitable Information Security Community for promoting, demonstrating & spreading awareness regarding the field of Information Security which provides a platform for open discussion between participants, where radical viewpoints are welcome and a high degree of skepticism is expected. However, insulting or harassing any participant is unacceptable.
We do not condone harassment against any participant, for any reason. Harassment includes hate speeches, deliberate intimidation and targeting any individual in a manner that makes them feel uncomfortable, sad, unwelcome, or afraid.
Any kind of harassment, hate speech, verbal abuse against our chapters, team members, attendees and exhibitors to speakers, press and volunteers will not be accepted and strict actions will be taken against such elements.
Anyone can report harassment. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, you can immediately contact our team members or send us an email at kota[at]hackersday[dot]org.
Conference & Chapter staff will be happy to help participants contact security, local law enforcement, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of Hackers Day.
